Biografie | Mr Gan Kong Yik (“Mr Gan”) joined KAF Investment Funds Berhad on 1 July 2014 as a fund manager managing a pension fund and private mandate funds. Biografie | Nicholas graduated from the University of Surrey, England, with a BSc (Honours) in Economics. Following a brief period with Price Waterhouse, he joined Wardley Investment Services (Singapore) Limited (now known as Hongkong Bank Asset Management) in 1987, and later with Warburg Asset Management (now known as Blackrock Asset Management) in London in 1990. After two years in London, he was seconded to its subsidiary company in Singapore as Assistant Director. Apart from supervising the fund management operation in Singapore and monitoring the Pacific (ex- Japan) stock markets, he was directly responsible for managing assets exceeding US$500 million in the region for unit trusts, Tokkin funds, pension, quasi-government and institutional accounts. Nicholas is a qualified Certified Financial Planner and was also one of the co-founders of the Financial Planning Association of Malaysia, which is licensed by the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards (USA). |
