Biografie | John is Head of Multi-Asset Income at Ninety One. He is co-portfolio manager of the Multi-Asset Income strategies and has macro focussed research responsibilities. During his time at the firm John has held senior positions as Co-Head of Fixed Income & Currency, having previously been responsible for the management of our South African fixed income assets from 1998 to 2004. John joined Guinness Flight in 1993, which was later acquired by our firm, and took responsibility for investments in emerging bond and currency markets. Prior to this, he worked in London and Tokyo as a specialist global bond and currency portfolio manager for Mitsui Trust Asset Management. John graduated from the University of Oxford with an honours degree in Chemistry in 1990 and he is a CFA® Charterholder. | ||

Biografie | Philip is director of the Ninety One Investment Institute . He is responsible for leading the development of the Investment Institute’s research role as a driver of Ninety One’s own broad investment thinking and as the key source of guidance, advice and partnership for clients. He was previously, Co-Head of Multi-Asset Growth and co-portfolio manager for the Global Strategic Managed and Risk Managed strategies, with macro focussed research responsibilities. He began his investment career in 1981 as an analyst at Guinness Mahon & Co Limited, assuming management responsibility for the company’s managed currency funds in 1984. In 1987, he became a founding director of Guinness Flight Global Asset Management, which was later acquired by Ninety One in 1998, and led its successful Global Fixed Income team. In 2000 he joined the Multi-Asset team, becoming Head in 2004. Philip graduated from Cambridge University in 1980 with a Masters of Art degree in History. | ||

Biografie | Paul Griffiths is the Global head of fixed income for Aberdeen Asset Management. Paul joined Aberdeen following the acquisition of the Credit Suisse Asset management business in July 2009 where he was CIO and Head of Fixed Income. Paul is a member of the Aberdeen Group Management Board and responsible for the Fixed Income and Money Market elements of the business managed out of London, Philadelphia, Sydney and Singapore.Prior to Credit Suisse Paul held a similar role at AXA Investment Managers, as well as being the UK CEO. Paul’s career encompasses a number of firms, including Investec Asset Management and Invesco/GT. During this time, whilst managing funds directly, Paul was an AAA rated fund manager, and won a number of awards, including Fixed Income Manager of the Year on three occasions. |
